Owl

Day 20 of NaPoWriMo. Today’s prompt was to choose five words to include in my Poem, I choose, owl, ghost, upwind, miraculous, imagecurl.

He is the ghost of night
Swooping sharply with such speed
His claws curled to catch his prize
His strong wings cut air, flying upwind
A miraculous sight in the dark sky
He’s watching through his owl eyes
Waiting patiently from tree branch
To catch his prey
Soon he’ll have his chance

Lovely Katie! And well done Ashleigh for taking such a dramatic photo! I’ve enjoyed looking at both your sites. Writing frees your wings and lets you fly…
