Eyes Don’t Judge

Eyes Don’t Judge

Your eyes are like daggers,
Thrown with disregard and content.
You who judges my home!
You who judges how I raise my children!
You who judges my life!
Don’t you get it!!
That one glare of judgement!
That one remark of snideness !
That one whisper of poison!
It seeps into me,
Like a black cloud of ash.
Distinguishing my light.
Can you not look with empathy.
Instead of a harsh need to belittle,
To make yourself feel better.
We’re all climbing our own mountains.
Facing our own demons.
Let humanity into your heart,
And think before you look.
Eyes don’t judge.
