Well Played

Hole in one,

She screamed happily,

Her Boyfriend wincing,

At her sharp high pitched tone.

But she couldn’t help it,

She was just so excited.

Every time they played mini golf,

She’d lost,

He’d gloated.

She was fed up,

Of being a loser.

So she’d been practicing,

Coming here with her brother.

Determined to beat her boyfriend,

Show him she had game,

And his face,

It was a picture.

Shocked he muttered,

Il beat you next time,

But next time came and went,

And she won again and again and again.

Her boyfriends face,

had become a beetroot red.

As he threw his club,

Like a frustrated child.

She just laughed,

And smiled a satisfying smile.

She had won.
