And now for our (optional) prompt. Today, we’d like to challenge you to write a poem about, or involving, a superhero.
Super Jerk
He says “it’s a secret”,
“I have a secret identity,”
“I’m sure you understand.”
“I can’t say too much”
She idolises him,
He’s her Superman.
Too bad it’s a line,
He used to hook up.
He has many conquest,
With his powers and speed.
Lois is non the wiser,
His word, she believes.
When Lois sees someone flirt,
Or say they’re his girl.
Clark just tells her, “You are my world.”
Superman has women all over the world.
Every place that he saves,
He finds a new girl.
So he is a super cheater,
A narcist, too.
No wonder he’s the way he is,
When we put him up on that pedestal.
