Last but not least, here’s our optional prompt for the day. Today, we’d like to challenge you to write a poem that is inspired by a piece of music, and that shares its title with that piece of music. My inspiration comes from our Sign Along with us anthem, ‘This is me’ from The Greatest Showman.
This is me
This is me,
I have scars.
I am mentally battered and bruised.
I am not perfect,
Or the most beautiful.
Yet I have beauty in me.
I may seem weak,
But the strength I have,
Cannot be denied.
This is me,
Who I am,
I shout out with pride!
